Hi Tony, how are things going?>> All is fine ! Are you getting the response
you expected to get with the new album?>>
A>> Yes, we are really happy with the response !, the reviews in Benelux
has been great !
Q>> Why "Multiple
Organ Harvest"?>> Cool uh :0) It sounds like a strong title but some
may not get the meaning of it... Could you please explain?!
A>> We see the cd as a body and the songs as limbs, there is also a true
story about a danish guy who got hit by a car while he was hitchhiking in the
US, ended up in a hospital with no ID on him, when his parents picked him up
after a few weeks, all the organs were missing !, and nobody knew nothing..scarry
uh !
Q>> The production
of is awesome! I saw you did it yourselves with the help of Svein Jensen. Tell
me more about the way you guys worked together...
A>> The cd was recorded in two sessions, 5 of the songs in April 2002,
and the rest in April 2003. A good in your face sound…..just the way we
want it !
Q>> Transport
League evolves in a musical genre where many bands operate but only a few succeed
in coming up with something coherent. Do you consider you're lucky YOU found
the magical receipt?
A>> It´s really not up to me to say if we´ve succeeded or
not !…I´m hope that I´m making something coherent !….
Q>> How did
T.L. work on this new opus? Did you compose the majority of the songs yourself
or did your new pals help you? I saw there's a totally new line-up...
A>> I mostly write the material myself…but we always arrange the
stuff together as a band..i think that is important !. Yes, a new line up….groovy
Q>> I couldn't
watch the videotrack because of some shitty tech problems... Did I miss something?
A>> Nothing is missing !!!..it works with Quicktime player just fine !
Q>> Do you
feel OK with Transport League? In the past I guess you felt like frustrated
with the B-Thong experience... Could such a situation happen again in the future?
A>> Yes, I feel really ok with TL.. I feel secure in myself, that is most
important, it does not matter who I play with, I will always have good people
around me !.
No, not with this band !..no way..this is my band !
Q>> What
are the plans now?
A>> The plan now is to do some tours in Europe !..and hopefully record
some new stuff soon, coz we have about 8 new songs !..which feels great !
